Prosero Security Group acquires BOFFERDING GmbH and takes its first step into the German market
Prosero Security Group announces its acquisition of BOFFERDING GmbH, a well-established security company based in Hamburg, Germany. The deal marks Prosero’s entry into the German market and is a significant move towards increasing the group’s presence in Europe.
Founded in 1949 by Alfred Bofferding as a traditional locksmithing firm, and continuing under the leadership of Uwe Hirthe and then Lars Hirthe, BOFFERDING GmbH has established itself as a dependable supplier in the safety industry. With a wide range of services, including lock and access systems, door automation, fire and evacuation solutions, intrusion alarms, surveillance, and mail- and letterbox solutions, BOFFERDING has consistently delivered results and has established strong customer relationships in both the public and private sectors as well as real estate and construction.
BOFFERDING’s 19 dedicated employees will continue to work from the Hamburg office. Prosero looks forward to cooperating with BOFFERDING GmbH who will strengthen the group’s presence in the German market and enable delivery of security solutions to benefit both current and future customers.
Lars Hirthe, CEO of BOFFERDING GmbH, emphasizes the significance of Prosero’s business model as a decisive factor in the decision.
