Prosero expands in Finland by acquiring Helsinki region’s Turvatalo
“It’s great to know that we’ll be a part of Prosero. Now, we can focus more on our deliveries, which are the real source of customer value, and our competence in the technology. By joining Prosero, we’ll also be able to build a more strategic relationship with our technology suppliers. That will definitely strengthen our business,” says Asko Ahlbom, Operations Manager for Turvatalo.
The acquisition will boost competence and delivery capacity for Prosero’s Finnish markets in locks, alarms, and surveillance. Turvatalo was founded in 1959 and has always played an important role for property owners in the region. By joining Prosero, the company can offer its customers a broader range, and will strengthen Prosero as a whole through cutting-edge expertise.
“Turvatalo is a well-operated firm with a long history of success. Joining forces will enhance our position throughout the entire Helsinki area. The company’s competence and organization will allow us to improve our offer further in service and aftersales,” notes Fredrik Gren, CEO for Prosero.
Turvatalo is active in the entire Helsinki region. The business is focused primarily on locks, access control systems, and camera surveillance. Asko Ahlbom’s father established the company in the 1950s. Today, Turvatalo has 24 employees who work from the store in Espoo, just outside Helsinki.
“I started working for Turvatalo 40 years ago, and for the past 25 years, I’ve been the owner and operations manager. By joining Prosero, I’ll be able to shift some of my focus from my ownership role to concentrate more on our customers and deliveries. That’s good for both the team and the customers,” adds Asko Ahlbom.
